The Spirit of Life

a4_99999886 I love the words of the Lord Jesus, "I have come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly" (John 10:10).

Abundant life - there is something so compelling about that, something that says within us, "Yes, I must have this." And who ministers this abundant life to us? The Holy Spirit.

The Lord Jesus said, "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing; the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life" (John 6:63).

Little Faith in a Big God

Remember, nothing is impossible when you put your trust in God!

The Bible states that if we have "faith as a grain of mustard seed," that's enough for God to work with. The Lord will intervene on your behalf... A mustard seed is no larger than the head of a pin; yet, God's Word says that's big enough.

I heard that someone once said to Kathryn Kuhlman, "You must have great faith, Kathryn." She replied, "No, I have little faith in a great God."

We can be confident in this fact - when our faith is small, our God is big!

God's Miraculous Touch

"Come, and let us return unto the LORD; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up." Hosea 6:1

God's divine touch upon a broken body or mind is not merely a New Testament phenomenon from the days of the apostles and the Early Church. His ability to perform the miraculous is not and never has been restricted to a certain time frame in church history. God is no respecter of persons, for Hebrews 13:8 declares, "Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today, and forever."
