Healing Testimony

Miracle Stream: “We refused to waiver in our faith.”

a4_99999534Little Gracie was found abandoned in an Ethiopian field with a rope around her neck. The miracle that she survived is extraordinary. What has happened since is an even greater testimony to God's miracle-working power!

Grace Francis Lydia Johnson was adopted in May of 2005 by Tom and Dawn Johnson, faithful Benny Hinn Ministries crusade volunteers. Eleven days later, the Johnsons from Wisconsin headed for the Detroit crusade. During the eventful days between, blood tests revealed abnormal liver enzymes, over ten times the normal range. The baby was diagnosed with hepatitis B and E antigen positive.

"We were told by our doctor that Gracie had over a 95 percent chance of having chronic liver problems for the rest of her life," Tom shares. "We had wondered if we should travel to Detroit to help with the crusade so soon after Grace arrived, but it became clearer why we needed to go."

Miracle Stream: Jesus Touched Me

a4_7 Without a doubt, what happened in 1999 to Donel Rourke can best be described as unfortunate and untimely. While strapped to an inversion table in a doctor's office, turned upside down, the strap gave way. Donel crashed to the floor, hitting the top of her head with her full body weight.

"I had severe pain from my head down my spine," she remembers. "I also had numbness and tingling in my right arm and the right side of my face. The injuries required surgery, which left me with plates and screws implanted in my neck at the C6 and C7 vertebrae. The range of motion in my neck was severely reduced, and there was a neurological muscle weakness in my right shoulder and arm. In an instant, my life had changed drastically!"

Medical care provided only temporary relief from symptoms, with no improvement in Donel's muscle weakness or pain. This horrendous pain continued for over half a decade.

Miracle Stream: “Changed Forever”

Jelaine Frey Foreman was leading a very productive life as a wife and mother. She was also the owner and operator of a manufacturing business of body care products that she formulated and marketed across the United States. In the summer of 1992, however, she began to have physical complications that caused swelling and pain in the joints of her body.

“By the end of that summer, I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and lupus,” Jelaine remembers vividly. “The disease had progressed to the point that I could barely function. I was given very strong medication, but there was little improvement or relief.”

Jelaine spent many months in torment and suffering. Her doctors suggested that she would eventually have to learn to live with her disease, and that they could do no more for her.

“As time went on,” she recalls, “my body became more crippled. My joints began to twist and fuse. Even my jaw began to fuse. Before this happened, I would have never imagined that a person could go through such pain and continual torment and still remain alive. Frankly, I knew that my only hope was Jesus, and I began to seek the face of God, studying the Word day and night.”
