The moment the Spirit came into my life I no longer had to battle my adversaries.
They were still there, but the wrestling and the worry seemed to vanish.
What happened to me was the same thing that was spoken to Israel centuries ago through the prophet Ezekiel.
Living in a time of political upheaval, he was given a message from the Lord to the people of Israel:
"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them" (Ezek. 36:26, 27).

One of the greatest movements of the Holy Spirit in the world today is the rebirth and revival of worship. In true worship, people meet the Lord with their intellect, will, and emotion. That's the difference between a cold, dead service and one that is vibrant and alive with God's presence.
If you've ever been in one of our crusades, you know how wonderful the sense of worship is. Occasionally people think it has something to do with me. They compliment me for leading in worship. But you know what? I don't lead in worship - the Holy Spirit does. I may be on the platform, but I'm worshipping the Lord just like everyone else. The Holy Spirit is in control, and I follow His leadings just like everyone else.
It is the Holy Spirit who reveals Jesus to us. Remember, worship isn't singing about the Lord and praying that God will meet your needs; worship is lifting your praise to the Lord in love, devotion, and adoration. Jesus said, "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth" (John 4:24).

As we move into the second half of 2009, I am amazed at what I have seen the Lord do in the past few months. The greatest thing He has done for me is allow me to feel His presence in ways that only a heavenly tongue can tell. I am awed by His power that has brought healing to the multitudes and salvation to multiplied thousands.
I am ever mindful of the fact that the Word of God clearly states that all glory and all honor and all majesty belong to Him and Him alone. Only then can we move into the deeper dimension of prayer and God’s mighty power as we take the life-saving, miracle-working Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations!
Back in the seventies when this ministry began, the Lord said to me, “As long as you give Me the glory, I will continue to use you.” My commitment to that calling is stronger than ever, for I have found, as I grow older, my commitments become deeper. I’m finding that the longer a person walks with God, the less of that person remains.
